(Bloomberg) -- Saudi Basic
Industries Corp. is interested in partnerships and acquisitions as
well as entering business areas like nylon, polyurethane and synthetic rubber,
Handelsblatt said, citing Chief Executive Officer Mohamed al- Mady.
While the CEO doesn’t rule out further acquisitions in the petrochemical
sector, Sabic could be hindered by antitrust rules because of the Riyadh-based
company’s size in that area, the German newspaper said, citing an interview with
al-Mady.
You can discuss that with Geert Drummen, Sabic's CEO in Eastern Europe
at "Russian Polymers Summit - 2010" international conference organized by ICIS
and MRC. For more information please refer to http://www.polymersummit.ru/ Summit official web
