MRC presents Price Forecast

The goal of Price Forecast is to provide market players with a tool that helps them predict prices on their own.

The crisis of 2008 proved that forecast of leading world experts was often fallacious However, price forecast is very important to develop and to go on with your business.

Despite the current situation, we would like to present our new product right now, because exceptions just prove the rule.

We have chosen the PVC market as a start of our forecasting. It might be not the very best time to predict PVC prices; however:
 current PVC prices are not market prices, because the speculative component is quite important;
many experts say about the agreement among market players who are limiting output trying to keep peak prices thus “recovering” last-year’s losses;
 some market experts are expecting a serious decrease in prices in the near future.


Price Forecast covers all important factors that affect prices. Taking into account all these factors you will be able to make your own predictions. As an alternative, we will present our own forecast based on our own “scales”. To make a forecast, we used a multi-factor model based on ARIMA (Box-Jenkins) predictions.
