MOSCOW (MRC) – Over the course of January-July, imports ofpolypropylene (PP) in Ukraine dropped by 20% (down to 36 kt), compared to the same period last year – according to MRC’s analysts.
Polypropylene supply is scarce in view of strong demand due to lack of Ukrainian feedstock. PP-homo imports went down by 17%. There have been no imports of Turkmen material in Ukraine, this year. Imports of LyondellBasell’s PP-homo decreased nearly two times.
PP-impactimports
dropped by 28%. Supply of Polish feedstock decreased more than two
times. Ukrainian converters and traders increased imports of Russian
material more than three times.
