MOSCOW (MRC) -- Trinseo, a global materials company and manufacturer of plastics, latex and rubber, and its affiliate companies in Europe has announced effective immediately or as contract terms permit, the company will increase the price for all latex products sold into the Paper, Board, Carpet and Textile, and Adhesive and Construction Latex markets in Europe and the Middle East, reported the company on its site.
The increase will be EUR40 per wet metric ton for all styrene butadiene and acrylic latex products.
"Trinseo is investing considerable resources to develop new technologies for its Latex markets and is focused on maintaining a high expertise service profile. At the same time margins have continued to decline in the past several years. This price increase is necessary to correct margins to reflect the efforts being made by Trinseo," says Jan Muller, Global Business Director Latex.

- STYRON general purpose polystyrene grades (GPPS), STYRON and STYRON A-TECH high impact polystyrene grades (HIPS) - by EUR320/tonne;
