MOSCOW (MRC) -- LyondellBasell, the world's biggest maker of polypropylene plastic, has announced that its Supervisory Board has authorized the company's Management Board to declare an interim dividend of USD0.78 per share, as per the company's press release.
The interim dividend will be paid September 8, 2015 to shareholders of record August 25, 2015 with an ex-dividend date of August 21, 2015.
As MRC reported earlier, a fire was burning at a LyondellBasell's petrochemical plant near Marseille in southern France on Tuesday, 14 July, after two explosions earlier in the morning. Two tanks 500 metres apart that were full of chemical products were affected by the explosions. Police said no-one was injured in the explosions that happened at 3:00 am (0100 GMT). The plant is operated by LyondellBasell, in Berre-l'Etang near Marseille-Marignane airport.
