MOSCOW (MRC) -- The largest
petrochemical holding SIBUR has received in 2016 113 billion rubles of net
profit, which is 1.8 times higher than its adjusted earnings by the end of 2015,
as per the companu's press release.
According to a press release from the
company, the company’s profitability on EBITDA has decreased to 33.9% from
Adjusted EBITDA increased by 5.3% compared to the year 2015,
amounting to 149,2 billion rubles, in particular, by increasing the capacity
utilization of the plant in Tobolsk.
"Lower prices in international
markets was partially offset by the weakening of the ruble", — stated in the
message of the company.
SIBUR last year has increased volume of
processing of associated petroleum gas by 4.4% compared to 2015 — to USD 22.4
billion cubic meters primarily due to the launch of Yuzhno-priobskiy GPP (its
joint venture with "Gazprom oil"). The result was generated 19.4 billion cubic
meters of natural gas, 5.2% over 2015.
The group includes 26 production
sites. The company’s largest shareholder is Leonid Mikhelson (owned about 43,08%
for December 2016).
