December, 17 (yourpetrochemicalnews.com) -- INEOS ChlorVinyls has today announced a price increase for all its grades of Suspension PVC of ?75 per tonne over the next two months.
A ?25 per tonne increase will be added to current list prices with
immediate effect for December and an additional increase of ?50 per
tonne announced with effect from 1st January 2010. Any increases not
passed on for December will be adjusted for in January pricing. The
January price increase will be further reviewed in line with the
development of feedstock prices such as ethylene and chlorine.
The increase is in response to increasing feedstock costs in the vinyls and chlor-alkali chain which continue to erode margins.
