February, 4 (Reuters) -- South Korea"s Honam Petrochemical will expand its naphtha cracker by 250,000 tonnes per year by Oct. 31, 2012, bringing its total cracking capacity to 2 million tpy or the country"s largest, a company spokesman said Wednesday.
Honam will spend 520 billion won ($453.1 million) on the expansion, it said in an announcement to the stock exchange.
