MOSCOW (MRC) -- The Supervisory Board of BASF SE has extended the appointment of BASF Chairman Dr. Kurt Bock (57) to the Board of Executive Directors as well as his appointment as Chairman until the end of the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting in 2021, reported the company on its site.
The appointment was originally scheduled to expire in 2016.
The Supervisory Board also extended the appointments of Dr. Martin Brudermuller (54), Vice Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors; Chief Financial Officer Dr. Hans-Ulrich Engel (56); and Dr. Harald Schwager (55), member of the Board of Executive Directors, by five years.
As MRC reported earlier, in june 2014, BASF undertook three key capacity expansion projects for performance materials at its Pudong site in Shanghai (China). The capacity expansion projects includes Ultramid (polyamide, PA), Ultradur (polybutylene terephthalate, PBT), Elastollan thermoplastics polyurethane elastomers (TPU), and Technical Center and capacity expansion of Cellasto (microcellular polyurethane components).
