Joint ICIS/MRC price reports

ICIS, world leading analytical company in the chemical market, and Market Report Company (MRC) jointly started to produce weekly pricing reports for the FSU markets. Joint reports will be issued under the brand ICIS/MRC. All the reports will be available in Russian and English every Monday.

CIS will provide weekly information on the European and Asian markets, while MRC will analyze the prices for polymers in five countries of FSU (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan).

We have decided to start joint publishing with PE and PVC reports. By the example of these two products we will work out general concepts and approaches to pricing in Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia, Kazahstan and Uzbekistan and then we will use the same mechanism towards other products, - said Barbara Ortner, Head of Market Reporting, ICIS.

Our goal is to create a transparent methodology of spot and contract pricing for imports-exports in CIS polymer industry, said Sergey Karaichentsev, Director of Price reports department, MRC.
