MOSCOW (MRC) -- Sirjangostar Global Group (SGG) still exporting Iranian polycarbonate (PC) to Russia market in August 2015, as per SGG's letter received by MRC.
SGG has exported most of its PC products to Turkey, India and Italy during July and planning to expand the markets to more countries during August.
SGG is in negotiation with LLC "Kartli", Plastic System LLC, Polygalvostok, SafPlast OOO and reach agreement to ship PC materials during this month based on CFR Astrakhan and Makhachkala Ports delivery.
Additionally, SGG is in negotiation with its big partner, OJSC "Research and Production Corporation URALVAGONZAVOD" (UVZ), in order to supply its plastic materials as well as PC on regular basis.
Sirjangostar Global Group is the biggest exporter of Iranian Polymers and the only exporter of Iranian PC to Russia. SGG’s August price level is USD1,940-USD2,200 per metric ton depends on grade and quality level. The cost on FOB Iran Anzali port is USD1,920-USD2,180 per metric ton.
After first shipment of Iranian PC to Italy in July 2015, now considerable European companies are in the line to place order to test this material.
Iran has reached nuclear agreement with 5+1 countries and it is agreed all sanctions to be lifted especially on the field of Oil, Gas and Petrochemical. This would allow Iran to enter global market and compete with all suppliers.
As MRC informed previously, Iran, as one of the main energy hubs in the world, with huge oil and gas reserves, is one of the leading producers of petrochemical products in the world. Currently number of active Iranian Petrochemical complexes are 53, with total production capacity of 59 million metric ton, producing range of polymers, chemicals, aromatics & liquid gas, located mainly at Iranian south region, next to Persian Gulf, called Assaluyeh and Mahshahr Special Economic Zones. At the moment, there are 67 developments projects in the country which are under construction, adding 61 million metric ton on total production and estimated to fully run till 2018.
