MOSCOW (MRC) -- Alfa Laval, a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling, has won an order to supply Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers to a petrochemical plant in South Korea, said the producer on its site.
The order, booked in the Energy & Process segment, has a value of approximately SEK 170 million and delivery is scheduled for 2017.
The order comprises the delivery of Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers which will recover energy in the production of mixed xylenes, ingredients in the manufacturing of synthetic nylons and PET bottles.
“This order confirms that customers in the demanding petrochemical and refinery sectors, value the reliable performance of our highly energy-efficient Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers,” says Lars Renstrom, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.
The name and specific location of the client were not disclosed.
As MRC informed earlir, Alfa Laval won an order to supply Alfa Laval OLMI heat exchangers to a petrochemical plant in Turkmenistan. The order, booked in the Energy & Process segment late March, has a value of approximately SEK 70 million and delivery is scheduled for 2016.
