MOSCOW (MRC) -- Henniges Automotive Holdings, Inc. with headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI, USA, announced the opening of its first manufacturing plant in Prudnik, Poland, as per GV.
According to the company, the workforce at the site is expected to grow to more than 500 employees in the next five years.
The automotive supplier produces, amongst others, sealing systems for doors, windows, trunks, lift gates, sunroofs and hoods. The company also supplies the automotive market with anti-vibration products, encapsulated glass, and other rubber components.
The new plant is located approximately 150 km north of the company’s Hranice plant in the Czech Republic. Henniges took over the Hranice plant in 2011 as part of the acquisition of Czech company Normaseal s.r.o., a manufacturer of static TPE seals. Henniges operates facilities in North and South America, Europe and Asia. The company has 7,700 employees worldwide.
We remind that, as MRC wrote previously, in June 2016, Stepan Company announced that the expansion of its polyester polyol facility in Brzeg Dolny, Poland, would be completed in mid 2016, with the addition of a new reactor. According to the company, the new asset will support its growth in the coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (CASE) business for its European customers.
